Raider athletics are in great shape because of the encouragement and support that Beth gave to the athletic programs during her 12 years as the Associate Dean of Students.  Her vision and assertive style allowed the department to move forward with a plan to enhance student involvement on campus and to add a true college atmosphere for all of Central Community College.  Working closely with the administration and coaching staff, Beth guided the implementation of Women’s Softball, Men’s Golf, Women’s Basketball and Men’s Soccer.   She also was very instrumental as a co-chair of Raider Night, a major fundraising event, and the Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony.  All of these programs and events are a direct reflection of Beth and her willingness to move forward in bolstering CCC athletics.   A lasting contribution, working closely with the athletic director, is the creation and design of Raider Rex, the Columbus Campus mascot.  Raider Rex has been seen at many events throughout the area and is a mainstay because of Beth’s willingness to think outside the box.  With her efforts and leadership, Beth has left her mark on Raider Athletics!
