Central Community College volleyball is pleased to announce the signing of Nebraska Christian High School senior Katelynn Halstead.
Halstead helped lead the Eagles to a 31-2 record in 2017, the best in school history. Nebraska Christian won its fourth consecutive Goldenrod Conference championship and a district title, as well. According to Max Preps, Halstead logged 255 kills, 242 digs, 36 total blocks and 33 serve aces in her senior campaign.
"Katelynn is a wonderful addition to our program," said CCC head coach Mary Young. "She brings a lot of energy to the court with her play and great athleticism."
While undecided on a major, Halstead will participate in CCC's music program. She is the daughter of Tim and Miriam Halstead.
