The Central Community College volleyball team defeated McCook Community College, 3-0, in McCook. The final scores read 25-23, 26-24, 25-20.

"It's always good to get a win in McCook," said CCC head coach Mary Young. "It was our first conference dual on the road in front of a robust student section. It wasn't our cleanest match and we struggled to get into a good rhythm offensively. Our errors at the net really hurt us at different points in the match and kept McCook within reach, but I was proud of our players for weathering the storm and playing through it."

Jacie Laetsch led the Raiders in kills with 10, while Paxton Throne led the way in assists with 28. Jessica Eurek was tops in digs with 13, with Laetsch right behind at 12.

The 18-2 Raiders will stay on the road for a Thursday night contest at North Platte Community College. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
