The Central Community College volleyball team defeated in-state rival Northeast Community College Tuesday night at Raider Fieldhouse, 3-1. The win keeps CCC perfect at 6-0.
The Raiders won the opening set in convincing fashion, 25-10. Northeast matched that vigor in the second set with a 25-14 win. CCC stormed back in the third and fourth set, 25-16 and 25-12, respectively.
Maeghan Pieper led the Raiders in Kills with 13, while Paxton Throne led the way with 41 assists and 17 digs, both game highs.
