Central Community College women's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Mia Stewart (left), a 2019 graduate of Lincoln High School.
Stuart played guard for the Links and participated in track and field and softball.
"I am blessed and honored to be able to be able to play the sport that I love in college and to play for a coach who truly believes in my abilities," said Stewart. "And I will do the best that I can do be a team leader and player. I will make my teammates better and help my team win."
Stewart made the honor roll during her senior year.
"The most important thing that Mia brings is her strong work ethic," said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. "The first time I watched her in the gym, she worked extremely hard and was always the first one done in drills and conditioning. She is going to push the girls in both the regular season and offseason to be the best they can be."
Stewart will be an academic transfer at CCC. She is the daughter of Trace Stewart (right) of Lincoln.
