The Central Community College women's basketball team lost to Fort Scott Community College, 74-60, in second round action of the SCC Holiday Classic.
The Raiders and the Greyhounds kept close in the first half with Fort Scott holding a 43-39 advantage at the half. However, CCC was limited to nine points in the third quarter, which allowed the Greyhounds to move on to the victory.
Monica Brooks led three CCC players in double figures with 17 points. Averie Miller and Alexis Ramaekers each scored 13 points apiece.
With the loss, the Raiders are now 3-9 on the season.
CCC is off until Monday, Jan. 7, when Hastings JV visits Raider Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m.
