The Central Community College women's basketball team lost to Midland University JV, 69-61, in the first round of the Pinnacle Bank Classic at Raider Fieldhouse.
The Raiders got off to a good start by taking the first quarter, 13-7. Midland took the second quarter, but CCC still held the advantage at halftime, 34-31.
The two teams tied in the third quarter, 19-19, before the Warriors outscored the Raiders, 19-8, in the fourth quarter to take the victory.
Monica Brooks led three CCC players in double figures with 21. Alexis Ramaekers scored 16 points, while Day zchay lon Gardner chipped in a dozen points.
The loss gives the Raiders a 1-2 mark on the season.
