Women’s Basketball: Averie Miller Signs with CCC

Central Community College women's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Averie Miller (seated), a 2018 graduate of Bethel High School in Spanaway, Wash.

Miller averaged 5.9 points and 5.2 rebounds a game for the Braves during her senior campaign. The 6-foot-2-inch power forward also averaged 1.2 blocked shots and 1.3 steals per game.

"Averie is going to bring us size and athleticism on both ends of the floor," said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. "She is going to bring a different dynamic to our team as she has the ability to control the block and run the floor."

Miller will be an academic transfer at CCC. She is the daughter of Niki Cagley.
