Central Community College women's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Hyannis High School senior Sarah Monahan (seated right). Joining Monahan at the signing was Hyannis girls head basketball coach Scott Kuhn (standing center) and athletic director Bruce Parish (standing right).
Monahan helped lead the Longhorns to a 21-3 record and an appearance in the NSAA Class D2 tournament. She was named First Team All-Mid-Nebraska Activities Association and made All-State Honorable Mention honors for three consecutive years.
"Sarah is going to be a good player on both ends of the floor," said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. "She is a good student and is going to bring a different dynamic to the Raider women's basketball program. She really is going to be a big piece of the puzzle."
Monahan will major in physical therapy at CCC. She is the daughter of Bryan (seated left) and LaRene (standing left) Monahan of Hyannis.
