The Central Community College women's basketball team lost to Marshalltown Community College, 69-55, on Saturday at Raider Fieldhouse.
The teams swapped momentums in the first and second quarters as the Tigers outscored CCC in the opening period, 23-9. The Raiders answered back with a nearly identical 22-10 triumph in the second quarter for a 33-32 deficit at the half. Following an even third quarter, Marshalltown moved on to the victory with a 21-9 performance in the final stanza. The Tigers had the upper hand in rebounding with a 46-31 advantage.
Two players scored in double figures for the Raiders. Maddy Wolfe led the way with 16 points, while Quenshae Love finished with 13 points.
The loss gives the Raiders a record of 5-15.
