Central Community College sophomore Teisha Snyder has been named as the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Basketball Player of the Week.

During the week of Nov. 28 through Dec. 4, Snyder played in two of three games, averaging 30.5 points, 10 rebounds and 5.5 assists. In the Raiders 99-84 home win over Hesston College on Dec. 4, Snyder recorded a career-high 37 points. Snyder missed CCC's road loss at McCook on Dec. 2 due to illness.

The Raiders are 6-5 on the season and will take part in the Holiday Classic at Southeast Community College on Friday and Saturday.
