Snyder’s Career High Boosts Raiders to Victory

CCC's Teisha Snyder poured in a career-high 37 points to lead the Raiders to a 99-84 home win over Hesston College. Overall, Snyder logged 14 field goals, five of which came from three-point range.

Two other CCC players scored in double figures. Quenshae Love tallied 16 points, while Payton Blanke finished with 15 points.

Scoring aside, CCC head coach Mike Kroupa noted Love's eight assists and Maggie Adney's seven rebounds as key contributors.

"Without starting PG Autumn Jones, Quenshae Love stepped into that role and did a great job dishing out eight assists," said Kroupa. "Maggie Adney gave us some great minutes in the second half off the bench and helped get our defense rolling."

Kara Horton's double-double paced the Larks. Horton scored 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. All five Hesston starters scored in double figures, but the Raiders bested the Larks in bench scoring, 26-8.

The Raiders are now 5-5 on the season heading into Tuesday night's home game against Mount Marty JV. Tipoff at Raider Fieldhouse is set for 5:30 p.m.
