Raiders Fall to Concordia JV

The Bulldogs built a 23-point lead on the Raiders en route to a 91-82 win at Raider Fieldhouse on Thursday night. However, CCC battled back and cut the lead to four points, but were unable to take the lead. Concordia was able to build the lead on the strength of 13 three-point baskets and a 50-34 advantage in rebounding.

"We had a slow start, but I was proud of how we played in the fourth quarter," said CCC head coach Mike Kroupa. "Hopefully, we can keep that type of effort going into our next game."

Keely Garvin scored 20 points to lead four CCC players in double figures. Payton Blanke scored 17 points powered by four three-point buckets. Teisha Snyder and Keyia Parker finished with 15 and 12 points, respectively.

With the loss, the Raiders are 1-1 on the season. CCC will return to Raider Fieldhouse on Wednesday, Nov. 9, to take on Doane JV. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
