COLUMBUS -- There was no shortage of offense at the Raider Fieldhouse.

The Central Community College women's basketball team defeated the Hastings JV 106-93 Tuesday in Columbus.

"We had a nice win. We shot incredible from 3-point range," Central head coach Mike Kroupa said. "We were able to run them down and towards the end, we wore them down with our press and fast pace of the game."

It was a fairly tight game at halftime as Central led 46-40.

The Raiders added 60 second-half points and kept the Hastings JV at bay by holding the Broncos to 53 points.

Adrianna Beck led all scorers with 34 points.

"Adrianna shot 8-for-12 from the 3-point line," Kroupa said. "She was very aggressive and she was feeling it, so she just fired away."

Montrese Weller added 22 points, while Paige Muhammad scored 13 points, and LaShonda Brewer had 12 points.

The Hastings JV was led by Jordan Johnson's 31 points.

Central hosts Little Priest Tribal College today.
