Central Community College softball is pleased to announce the signings of Yutan High School seniors Liberty Josoff (seated right) and Morgan Pinkelman (seated left).
Josoff is a pitcher and infielder. Following the 2017 season, she received Honorable Mention honors by the Lincoln Journal-Star. Josoff also played basketball for the Chieftains. As a junior, she earned All-East Central Nebraska Conference Honorable Mention honors.
"Libby was our number one target as a pitcher," said CCC head coach Jack Gutierrez (standing far right). "She has good velocity and a real toughness on the mound. She is also versatile and can help us at the plate and on the infield at multiple positions."
Pinkelman is an outfielder. She also participated in volleyball, track and field and cheerleading at Yutan High School.
"Morgan brings some speed in the outfield and on the bases," said Gutierrez. "She also gives us the slapper mentality and a good approach to the game."
Josoff will major in business at CCC. She is the daughter of Dan and Jen Josoff.
Pinkelman plans to major in psychology. She is the daughter of Jason and Jennifer Pinkelman.
