The Raiders scored early and often in a 26-0 victory in five innings over top-seed North Platte CC in game three of the Region IX Softball tournament. CCC scored five runs in the first and third innings, six in the fourth, and nine in the fifth. The Raiders (18-29) went through the batting order in four of the five innings, and took advantage of nine errors committed by the Knights (15-30).

CCC will now meet Southeast Community College, which defeated the Raiders, 6-5, in game one of the tournament on Thursday evening. If the Raiders win game four, they will force a fifth game at 3 p.m. this afternoon to decide the Region IX Softball tournament winner.
