The Central Community College men's soccer team lost in overtime to Northwest College, 2-1, at the Raider Soccer Complex on Friday afternoon.
CCC's goal was score by Jeremiah Vidale off the assist of Luis Tovar.
"It was a really fun and evenly matched game to be a part of," said CCC head coach Hawken Hanna. "Both teams had a lot of talented players and opportunities to win the game. We had a slow start to the game and were scored on first, but I am happy with the way the guys responded and fought back, just unlucky to get the loss."
The loss gives the Raiders a mark of 5-2-1. However, Hanna remains optimistic.
"We are really close to putting together a full 90 minutes and becoming a strong team in the region," said Hanna.
