Golf: Remm Leads CCC Against Union JV

Sophomore Colten Remm (pictured) shot a 77 to lead the Central Community College golf team to a victory over Union College JV in Lincoln on Thursday. The Raiders finished with a 321, while the Warriors tallied a 364.

Freshmen Ethan Paben and Trent Colby each carded an 80, while freshman Carter Luedtke rounded out the top four with an 84.

"The team played much better in the second competition of the season and were much more comfortable on the course," said CCC head coach Britt Blackwell. "We still have a lot of room for improvement, but we're headed in the right direction."

The Raiders are now 1-1 on the fall season.

Up next, CCC will return to the course on Wednesday at the Midland Invite. Tee time is set for 2 p.m. at The Pines Country Club in Valley.
