Blackwell and Schroeder Tops at Pawnee Tourney

Raiders head golf coach Britt Blackwell and former CCC-Columbus golfer Blake Schroeder teamed up to take first place in the Member/Guest Golf Tournament at Pawnee Hills Golf Course in Fullerton, on Saturday, August 6. Blackwell and Schroeder totaled a score of 56, which is believed to be a record at Pawnee Hills in a two-person scramble event. Along the way, the pair logged four pars, 12 birdies, and two eagles.

Schroeder graduated from Central Community College in May with an associates of arts degree and transferred to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he will study PGA golf management and business management. Schroeder is a graduate of Scotus Central Catholic High School in Columbus.
