Twins to Swing Together at CCC

Central Community College men's golf is proud to announce that Lakeview High School seniors Caden Remm (right) and Colten Remm (left) have signed letters of intent to play for the Raiders this fall. The fraternal twins signed their letters on Thursday at Raider Fieldhouse with CCC head coach Britt Blackwell looking on.

"These are two excellent student-athletes," said Blackwell. "They're going to be welcome additions. Based on their coach's comment from high school, they are hard workers willing to spend the additional time and effort required to be able to compete at the collegiate level."

Blackwell saw the boys play at Lakeview's district tournament last season and while the team did not qualify for the state tournament, both boys did. Blackwell also saw the boys occasionally at the Elks Country Club in Columbus, where the twins are employed part-time. Elks CC is the Raiders' home course.

"Any competition we have at Elks, we'll have a built-in home court advantage," said Blackwell. "But not only that, I think due to their work ethic the boys are going to be able to compete at the collegiate level and it's really going to raise our ability to compete with other schools."

Both Caden and Colten are looking to pursue four-year degrees after their days at CCC and Blackwell said both are very intelligent.

"Their ACT scores are impressive and I'm sure they're going to do extremely well academically as well as athletically," said Blackwell.
