The Central Community College Golf team finished two strokes behind host York College for a second-place finish at the I-80 Classic. Northeast Community College took third place in the two-day event, held at Elks Country Club in Columbus on Sunday, and York Country Club on Monday.

Sophomore Matt Hansen (St. Paul HS) was the Raiders top golfer, finishing the tournament as the second-place medalist with a combined score of 161. CCC sophomores Logan Fleming (High Plains Community HS) and John Opela (Mullen HS) tied for the third place medal, each shooting 164 for the tournament.

The Raiders will next be in action on Thursday for a dual with Doane University JV. Tee time is at 2 p.m. at the Elks Country Club in Columbus.
