The Central Community College men's basketball team defeated the Hastings College JV, 106-79, on Monday night at Raider Fieldhouse.
The Broncos led 50-46 at halftime before the Raiders defense kicked in and held Hastings to 29 points in the second half.
Four CCC players scored in double figures with two of them logging double-doubles. Nathan Frost scored 33 points and hauled in 12 rebounds, while Roman Behrens scored 26 points and recorded 11 assists. Tre Mikkelsen scored 13 points, while Dwight Glover scored 11 points.
"It was nice to see multiple guys contribute tonight," said CCC head coach John Ritzdorf. Nathan had another outstanding game and Roman did a great job of pushing the tempo and sharing the ball. We've had a lot of games the first few weeks of the season and to go 8-3 in that stretch is a credit to our guys sticking together."
