Men’s Basketball: Raiders Fall To Storm In OT

The Central Community College men's basketball team lost to Southeast Community College on Monday night, 94-87 in overtime, at Raider Fieldhouse.

The game was tied at 77 with less than a minute to play in regulation and neither team was able to score, which forced the extra session. The Storm then outscored the Raiders, 17-10, in overtime to secure the seven-point win.

"We had a couple of opportunities to win the game at the end of regulation, but didn't take advantage," said CCC head coach Jerry Drymon. "However, I thought we made some nice improvements over the last time we played SCC."

Five CCC players scored in double figures with Manape Cleveland scoring 19 points to lead the way. Tre'vion Crawford scored 17 points, while Latrell Talley tallied 16 points. Nathan Frost logged a double double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

With the loss, the Raiders are 9-16.

Up next, CCC will close out the regular season with a road game at McCook Community College on Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
