The Central Community College men's basketball team lost to Doane University JV, 79-75, on Tuesday night in Crete.
The Raiders led 40-37 at halftime, while the Tigers took the second half, 42-35.
CCC outrebounded Doane, 37-27, and shot 45 percent from the floor. Doane made 14 out of 16 free throws for 88 percent.
Four Raiders finished with double-digit scoring. Delrico Simms (pictured) led the way with 21 points, while Zavier Stevens logged a dozen points. Mayra Almayra and Manape Cleveland each scored 10 points.
The four-point loss gives the Raiders an 0-5 record.
Up next, CCC will host the Pinnacle Bank Classic at Raider Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday. On Friday at 7 p.m., the Raiders will take on York JV. On Saturday at 1 p.m., CCC will battle Southwestern Community College.
Veterans will be admitted free of charge for Friday night's contest.
