Men’s Basketball: Raiders Sign Bellevue West Star

Central Community College men's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Bellevue West High School senior Tevin Tanner.

Tanner helped lead the Thunderbirds to the championship game of the Class A state basketball tournament, which was won by Creighton Prep, 56-46. In the semi-final game against Millard South, he was the hero as he scored a layup at the buzzer to send Bellevue West to its ninth Class A championship game.

Tanner scored 6.9 rebounds per game and hauled in 4.2 rebounds per contest. He earned All-State Honorable Mention honors at the conclusion of the season.

"Tevin is an athletic wing who is only beginning to tap into his potential," said CCC head coach Jerry Drymon (pictured standing below). "He has the versatility to play inside or out and can drive as well as shoot. Tevin is a player who has a good chance to be a difference make for us."

On Wednesday, Tanner joined four other Bellevue West athletes in signing letters of intent to compete at the collegiate level.
