Men’s Basketball: Raiders Wound the Wolves

Latrell Talley tallied a double-double as the Central Community College men's basketball team defeated Nebraska Wesleyan JV, 86-65. Talley scored 15 points and pulled down 16 rebounds in the win.

The Raiders held the Prairie Wolves to 30 percent field goal shooting (20-66) and won the rebounding battle, 52-32.

Three other CCC players scored in double figures. Jaxon Simons scored a team-high 18 points, while Garrett Sittner scored a dozen points off the bench. Malik Mooving rounded out the double-digit scoring with 11 points.

The Raiders are now 5-5 to close out November.

Up next, CCC will take part in the Great Western Shootout hosted by Iowa Central Community College. On Friday, the Raiders will take on the host Tritons at 7 p.m. On Saturday, CCC will meet North Iowa Area Community College at 2 p.m.
