Ruben Fuamba recorded his fifth double-double of the season to lead CCC to a 97-82 win over Dakota County Technical College in opening play of the Pinnacle Classic. Fuamba scored 19 points and pulled down 17 rebounds, both team-highs.

Once again, the Raiders had a great shooting performance from the floor, going 35-64 for 55 percent. From three-point range, CCC connected on 10 of 23 treys. The numbers at the free throw line were not as stellar, 17-29 for 59 percent.

Four other CCC players joined Fuamba in double-digit scoring. Logan Flemming and reserve Tristan Hoover each recorded 16 points, while Luke Cadzow and Marco Fabietti tallied 14 and 11 points, respectively.

The Blue Knights were led by Adreon Wadlington's game-high 28 points. Termaine Daniels also scored in double figures with 11 points.

The win gives the Raiders a 7-1 mark heading into Saturday's game with Southwestern Community College.
