CCC Needs OT to Remain Undefeated

The Central Community College men's basketball team outscored Iowa Central Community College in overtime, 19-12, to post a 103-96 win and remain undefeated at 6-0. The Raiders bested the Tritons in rebounding, 52-48, with 16 on the offensive side. The Raiders forced 19 turnovers and logged 11 three-point baskets. The win came on day two of the Hawks Classic hosted by Northeast Community College.

Five CCC players scored in double figures, with Luke Cadzow leading the charge with 24 points. Marco Fabietti scored 20 points, which included four three-point buckets. Logan Fleming totaled 19 points and was perfect at the free throw line, going 11-11. Jerome Dixon and Ruben Fuamba rounded out the double-digit scoring with 16 and 15 points, respectively.

The Tritons also featured five players in double figures, with Kam Swift recording a team-high 22 points. Tray Croft finished with 19 points, while Prince Moss added 15 points. Luke McLeod logged a dozen points and James Blair contributed 10 points.

The Raiders are back in action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. with a home contest against Iowa Western Community College. The Reivers are 5-0 on the season following wins over Labette CC (KS) and MSU-Western Plains (MO) in the Holiday Inn/Hampton Inn Reiver Classic.
