COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- Central's two-game winning streak was snapped Saturday.

The Central Community College men's basketball team lost to Iowa Western 105-56 Saturday in Council Bluffs, Iowa Saturday.

The Raiders were coming off back-to-back wins over Doane College and Southeast Community College.

Central couldn't do much offensively in the first half, scoring only 24 points by halftime.

Iowa Western, on the other hand, put up 57 points in the first half and never looked back.

Central shot just 33.8 percent from the floor and 20.8 percent from 3-point range.

Iowa Western was also able to beat Central on the boards, grabbing 45 rebounds to Central's 31.

Shawn Robinson led the Raiders with 17 points in the game.

Central hosts Northeast Community College Wednesday.
