DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Raiders won back-to-back games for the first time since early December.

The Central Community College men's basketball team took down AIB College of Business 90-64 Friday in Des Moines, Iowa.

"We played really well," Central head coach Jerry Drymon said. "We played really good defense. Building off the game we had on Tuesday night, it was nice to see us put together two good halves of basketball."

The win gives the Raiders five victories on the season and also marks the second time this season Central won back-to-back games.

The Raiders jumped ahead early and stayed in control for most of the first half, recording a 50-29 lead at halftime.

AIB played the Raiders a bit tougher in the second half, but Central still outscored AIB 40-35 to hang on for the win.

Shawn Robinson led the Raiders with 20 points, while Thomas Johnson chipped in 19 points, and Matthew McLeod tallied 15 points.

Central travels to take on Doane Sunday.
