Herb “Kele” Kahookele had a tremendous impact on the lives of the many students he coached in both Men’s Golf and Women’s Volleyball. During his tenure at CCC-Hastings, “Kele” served the Campus in several capacities, including Student Activities Coordinator, Housing Director, Athletic Director, and as the Associate Dean of Students. He once described athletics as the “glue to keep people’s spirits together”. CCC will remember Herb Kahookele for the Aloha spirit he brought to the Hastings Campus and to the many lives he touched.
