A celebration will be held for retiring CCC athletic director Jack Gutierrez at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, at VFW-Columbus, 2720 23rd Street in Columbus.
The event is open to former CCC student-athletes, parents, staffers, students and anyone associated with Raiders athletics during Gutierrez' tenure with the department, which spans 39 years.
The evening opens with socializing at 6 p.m., followed by a program at 7:30 p.m. featuring some of Gutierrez' former basketball and softball players.
Throughout the evening, several classic CCC basketball and softball uniforms will be sold for $10 apiece. All proceeds will benefit CCC athletics. To see a sampling of the uniforms, please click here.

Gutierrez will officially retire on May 31.
