Women’s Soccer: Raiders Sign Netherlands Club Player

Central Community College women's soccer is pleased to announce the signing of Sanne van Gorp, a midfielder from Almere, Netherlands.

van Gorp currently plays for SV Huizen MO17-1, a club soccer team based in Huizen, Netherlands.

"This is a dream-come-true," said van Gorp. "I am honored to be part of the women's soccer team and represent Central Community College."

van Gorp attended high school at Oostvaarders College. She also played tennis for two years.

"Sanne is a versatile player who can play anywhere on the field," said CCC head coach Jamie Bennett. "I am excited for what she is going to bring to the team."

van Gorp will be an academic transfer at CCC. She is the daughter of Jaime van Gorp and Annet van Dijk.
