Central Community College women's soccer is pleased to announce the signing of three walk-ons – Veronica Ardon, Joanna Canchan and Abigail Ramirez.

Ardon (center) is an academic transfer major at CCC and a 2018 graduate of Schuyler Central High School. She played forward and midfield for the Warriors.

"It's an honor to be a part of the team and I can't wait to bring out what I've got," said Ardon.

Canchan (right) is an academic transfer at CCC and a 2018 graduate of Boys Town High School. She played soccer at Columbus High School before enrolling at Boys Town during her senior year.

Ramirez (left) is an elementary education major at CCC and 2018 graduate of Schuyler Central High School. In addition to playing soccer for the Warriors, she lettered in cheer.

"I am very excited to play the sport I love once again, especially with some of my old high school pals," said Ramirez.

Ardon, Canchan and Ramirez are the first walk-ons signed by Raiders coach Jamie Bennett as he fields the first women's soccer team in CCC history.

"I am really excited about these three young lady's signing with the CCC soccer team," said Bennett. "All three have been away from competitive soccer for a year and each one is really excited to get back into playing soccer. These girls are all an important part of this class and will help ensure we have a full roster during our first year."
