The players were each nominated by their respective high school coaches to take part in the all-star volleyball match, and then each one was drafted by the game's coaches. The coaches for the all-star volleyball match were selected by the CCC coaches as well as the Columbus Telegram staffers.

Tickets for the 27th annual Central Community College/Columbus Telegram All-Star volleyball match are $6 each and can be purchased at the door. Children 6 and under will be admitted free of charge. Proceeds from the match will help support CCC athletic programs.
