CCC Basketball Signs Omaha Point Guard

Central Community College women's basketball has announced the signing of Jada Warner, a point guard from Burke High School in Omaha.

As a senior, Warner dished out 115 assists for the Bulldogs, a season best for the program. She also averaged 10.7 points per game. Following the 2016-17 season, Warner earned All-Nebraska Class A Honorable Mention honors.

"Jada is a gamer and we are excited to see what she will accomplish in her two years here," said CCC head coach Mike Kroupa. "On the court, she can guard four positions, run the court and handle the ball extremely well."

Kroupa also pointed out Warner's potential in the classroom.

"Jada is an excellent student with high character," said Kroupa. "She will be a great addition to the overall student body of Central Community College."

Warner plans to study communications at CCC.
