Central Community College is pleased to announce that Emerson-Hubbard High School standout Payton Blanke has signed a letter of intent to play for the Raiders.

Blanke helped lead the Lady Pirates to the Nebraska State D-1 championship this past March over Howells-Dodge. She was named D-1 All-State and averaged 18 points per game. Blanke was also a member of the Emerson-Hubbard volleyball team.

"Payton is one of the best players in the state, said Michael Kroupa, head coach of the Raiders. "Her ability to score is easy to see, but what we are also excited about is her overall knowledge of the game.  She is a smart player that will be able to play multiple positions."

Payton is the daughter of Dion and Lori Blanke. She is looking at studying business at CCC-Columbus.
